Pondy Bazaar and Ranganathan Street: After the pedestrian plaza came up on Pondy Bazaar, a full-size truck cannot simply stand in front of the shops. Ranganathan Street is packed with people almost the whole day. For homes and shops on these stretches we park the main vehicle on a wider road and bring the goods out with a Tata Ace or by hand.
Old independent houses: A lot of T Nagar is still old two or three floor houses with no lift and narrow staircases. Wardrobes and double beds usually have to be opened up before they come down. We check this on the survey call itself, so it is already in the quote.
Festival rush: During Deepavali, Pongal and the Aadi sale season, the crowd near Usman Road and Pondy Bazaar is something else. If your date is flexible, avoid the week before Deepavali. If it is not flexible, we start loading early in the morning before the shops open.
