Yes. We share the driver's number and give you updates on call or WhatsApp. For a shared truck, we tell you when it leaves Chennai and the expected delivery day.
It is best if you are, but not compulsory. A family member or friend can hand over the goods in Chennai or receive them in Bengaluru. Just tell us their name and number in advance, and they should check the packing list and sign the receipt.

When you book just a truck, you get the vehicle and driver. You arrange the packing, cartons, labour at both ends and dismantling yourself. A simple rule we give people: if you can manage 3–4 days without your things in Bengaluru (staying at a relative's place or a PG, for example), a shared truck saves real money. If you are landing in an empty flat with kids, take the dedicated truck.

These are not allowed for safety reasons or because of state rules. Please sort them out before the packing day so nothing gets held up at the last minute.
Ask before including plants. Acceptance and suitable handling depend on the plant, vehicle and transit time.
Switch it off and empty it the night before. Let the freezer defrost and wipe it dry. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for transport and restarting at the new house.
Run the drain cycle a day before so no water is left inside. Disconnect the inlet and outlet pipes and keep them in a bag.
Use a qualified technician for disconnection and installation. Ask at booking whether technician visits can be arranged and what they cost.
Get them uninstalled by an electrician or plumber. Most new flats need a fresh fitting anyway, so keep the brackets and screws together.
Here is a sample breakup for a typical 2 BHK. It has a double cot, a single cot, a 3-seater sofa, a dining table, a fridge, a washing machine, a 43-inch TV, 2 wardrobes and about 25 cartons. The Chennai flat is on the 3rd floor with a lift and the Bengaluru society allows truck entry.

This is only an example to show where the money goes. Your quote will depend on your actual items, floors and dates. A shared truck for the same goods usually comes to ₹18,000 – ₹22,000, but delivery takes longer.
Bengaluru Traffic Police restricts heavy goods vehicles on many city roads during peak hours. Big container trucks often reach the outskirts early and wait, then enter the city in the allowed window. For narrow roads in older areas like Malleshwaram, Basavanagudi or parts of Jayanagar, we shift goods into a smaller vehicle for the last stretch. If this is needed for your address, we include it in the quote.
Most societies in Whitefield, Bellandur, HSR Layout, Sarjapur Road, Hebbal and Electronic City have a fixed move-in time, often only on weekdays or before evening. Many ask for a refundable deposit and a copy of your rental agreement. Some ask you to cover the lift walls. Call your association or facility manager at least 3–4 days before the move and book the slot.
Goods trucks on this route mostly run on NH 48: Poonamallee, Sriperumbudur, Vellore, Ambur, Vaniyambadi, Krishnagiri, Hosur, and then into Bengaluru through Attibele and Electronic City. It is a good four-lane and six-lane road, which is why a dedicated truck can do the trip overnight.
Ask which road the truck will use and whether current entry restrictions or road works affect the delivery window.
Trucks may be stopped for a document check near the Tamil Nadu–Karnataka border at Hosur and Attibele. That is normal, and it is why the driver carries the LR copy, packing list and your ID copy (see the documents section below).
Keep the moving paperwork together and confirm the documents needed for your item list and route before pickup. Household belongings, business assets and vehicles may need different records.
For a car or bike, also keep ready a copy of the RC, the valid insurance and your ID. If the vehicle has a loan on it, keep the bank's contact handy too, if any lender documents are required for your move.
If you are moving new, unopened items you bought for resale or for a shop, tell us. Commercial goods are handled differently from household goods.
Bikes go packed in a closed truck, often along with your household goods. We wrap the tank, mirrors and handle with foam and bubble wrap. Keep only a little petrol in the tank. Cars go on a car carrier truck. Before loading, we note every scratch and dent along with photos, and you sign that inspection report. The same report is checked when the car is handed over in Bengaluru.
Car delivery usually takes 2 to 4 days, as carriers move with several cars on board. Bike delivery follows your household goods if they move together.
Before a long-term move, ask the relevant transport office which registration, tax and vehicle documents apply to your circumstances. Keep your RC, insurance, address records and lender details ready. Vehicle transport and registration paperwork are separate jobs; agree who handles each.

Heavy goods vehicles are restricted on many Chennai roads during the day. So for central areas, the big container often waits at the city edge and a smaller vehicle shuttles goods to it. If your address needs this, the cost is already in your quote.
Big gated societies, strict move-in slots. ORR traffic is heavy, so we plan delivery for late morning or afternoon.
Closest to the Hosur entry, so trucks from Chennai usually reach here first. Good for early deliveries.

We give you an itemised invoice, the packing list and the LR copy, and your employer decides which records it accepts for relocation claims. We are not on the IBA-approved list, so if your employer or bank specifically needs an IBA-approved mover, please check with your HR before booking.
